Education system should not be crippled by politics. The best should be chosen and given the opportunities they deserve.

India's real progress into a knowledge economy will not come without a substantial development of its human potential. And the development of the Human Potential is possible only through a properly developed education system. India, perhaps has the highest degree of intellectual potential in the world, and the only need is to channelize this potential to ensure the nation's growth as the best knowledge economy in the world.

In this article, I would like to focus on some of the areas wherein some major changes are required and these changes, in turn, will help develop a whole new arena for education system.

The education system should have a vision for the all-round development of the youth, the human assets of the nation, for the growth and prosperity of the nation. Education should not just revolve around the books, but should aim at a student's all-round development. The problems of reservation, politics, corruption, and lack of a proper vision and values, should be completely eliminated from the education system.
