We are in the midst of unparalleled change. To meet the demands of the environment, we have to constantly supply the energy for performance and hence stress ourselves and the burden is growing day by day. Managing the stress means managing the potential stressors or stressful situations to minimize their harmful consequences. Stress is a result of mismatch between a person and his environment and the perceived inability to cope with the constraints or the demands encountered. Uncertainties and unexpected changes are common in our lives. People often do not behave as we expect them to. Major events are often beyond our control and things do not work out as we want. Stress is, therefore, unavoidable in human life. Stress arises from an opportunity, demand, constraint, threat or challenge when an outcome of an event is important and uncertain.
Energy is required to be conserved and multiplied and it should follow the law of multiplying factor. The shifts are so rapid that there are no ringing models anywhere that have worked out completely well. Actually they happen to be only the keys to success and innovation or the pathway to progress. We, as energy users, must understand the new paradigms in order to survive. It is always better to conserve energy and utilize it to the maximum than to destroy it in the non-useful process.
