this via the China route. Indian companies across various
sectors have been attempting to globalize their operations
and venturing into China fits the bill. Be it the auto
components, the Indian steel industry, Indian banks,
the IT and software or the Indian pharmaceutical industryall
have ventured into China in order to make it their base
and then, gradually supply their products and services
world over. It gets easier for Indian companies to tap
other Asian and European markets by making China their
manufacturing base. Moreover, China itself being a promising
option offering a huge market with economical manufacturing
and labor costs, which are in fact lower than India,
is also attracting India Inc.
