Kartagener’s syndrome is a rare genetic disorder. It is a genetic triad consisting of bronchiectasis, situs inversus and sinusitis (Zuckerman and Wurtzebach, 1951; Salisbury, 1968; Egbert et al., 1977; and Tsukahara et al., 1996). The mode of genetic transmission of this syndrome is autosomal recessive. The symptoms can be seen in infancy and childhood. Early diagnosis and treatment may be important because of possible prevention for chronic complication. This condition is uncommon and interesting. Here, the author has performed a retrospective review of Thai reports on Kartagener’s syndrome.
