The purpose of the study is to examine the experiences of executives who were successful in consummating a corporate operation. The objective of the research is to determine how and what supported the relationships. A phenomenological research method is applied. Key thematic research discoveries reveal that executives consider pursuing optimizing operation; responsible executive teams should assess their reputation within the local and regional communities, review their historical and present philanthropic engagement, determine the soundness of their relationships with political and regulatory entities, and review their environmental stewardship.

Vodafone Global Telecommunications headquartered in UK is the largest mobile telecommunications business in the world considering revenue and number of active customers (Sceales, 2007). Through ownership, mergers, acquisitions, subsidiaries, or joint ventures, Vodafone established significant presence of 289 million customers (Sceales, 2007). Due to international and local regulatory pressures, global competition in the mobile market, the emergence of new technologies slowed down (Frisanco et al., 2008a; 2008b; and 2008c).

The expansion and revenue goals of Vodafone are slowing down. This paper makes suggestions to optimize operations, leadership theory, employees’ behaviors, and improve organizational value in a global market from a project management perspective.
