However, the announcement of the merger between the two of the world's biggest PC makers, Hewlett Packard (HP) and Compaq, has made many an industry players rub their eyes in disbelief, those against it are raising their eyebrows, slamming it as a disgraced union. Surprisingly enough, though, more than the bride and groom, it is the onlookers or rather say competitors who are celebrating this wedding of the season. And, it doesn't take much brainstorming to understand why?
It is not a proposed marriage in the true sense; rather it's a compromise between the two troubled singles of the PC world.
