M K Ajay is the author of a short story collection and two books of poems, including Sweetness of Salt (Plainview Press, Austin, Texas). His works have appeared in several publications around the world including Orbis, Indian Literature, The Little Magazine, Brown Critique, Ampersand Poetry Journal, Kavya Bharati, Chandrabhaga, Ygdrasil and Poems Niederngasse.One of his short stories was recently included in Urban Odysseys (MPH Publishing), an anthology of writings about contemporary Kuala Lumpur. Ajay was born and bred in Kerala, and currently works as an expatriate manager in Malaysia.
