Entrepreneurship Education in Ethiopia should focus on the development of man/woman as that will change his/her generation through social, political, and economic activities and transform the society with the creation of viable and feasible micro and small enterprises. Today, knowledge is the foundation and measurement of economic potential and economic power. Education is therefore the current "nuclear reactor" that can propel any nation to greater heights. The new order demands renewed dynamism of approach. Entrepreneurship Education is the new name of the game.

Entrepreneurship, recently, has attracted much public interest since it contributes significantly to social and economic transformation. It has been receiving the attention of the planners, policy-makers, social scientists, economists, industrialists, government, financial institutions and academicians. Entrepreneurship is regarded as the most crucial factor in the economic development of every nation.

The essential attributes expected from an entrepreneur are the skills of human and business management, technical and innovative marketing, and the ability to identify business opportunities and to take business and environmental risks. Thus, a successful entrepreneur is one who knows the art and the science of handling the problems of creating and managing a business venture. These attributes and skills can be acquired through education. Hence, the new breed of entrepreneurs has to possess different varieties of skills, quite different from what were described by Schumpeter.
