The paper aims to analyzes the real-life experiences and challenges faced by men who are victims of domestic violence. It seeks to uncover the prevalence, circumstances, and societal perceptions surrounding this often-overlooked issue, providing a comprehensive understanding of the impact of domestic violence on men. The study is based on a descriptive questionnaire administered through online in the northern region of India, primarily concentrating on the National Capital Region (NCR). The findings reveal that men too, can be victims of domestic violence. Hence, there is a need for creating widespread awareness about the same, which is crucial for fostering a more inclusive and understanding society that supports victims of dometic violence, regardless of gender.
Men are expected to be strong in every aspect of life—mental, physical, emotional, and financial. This strength is potrayed not just as an ideal, but as a standard to strive for. Embracing these qualities allows for personal growth, while acknowledging that even the strongest have limits.
