Emerging Trends in Fintech Business Applications: A Bibliometric-Systematic Literature Review
Abstract

This paper examines the present status of research on the application of fintech in enterprises. Fintech uses technology to improve, automate, and innovate financial services, and it includes digital banking, mobile payments, investment apps, cryptocurrencies, and AI-powered financial tools. Users get faster, cheaper, and more accessible banking services with fintech. The study examined 107 articles published between 2020 and 2024 for bibliometric analysis of fintech research issues and trends. The evaluation divides fintech apps into lending, insurance, payments and transfers, and investments and wealth management. The results show that fintech apps are changing the way standard financial services work and offering new ways to solve problems that have been around for a long time. However, concerns persist over issues like privacy, safety and regulations. The review concludes with recommendations for further research, emphasizing the necessity for additional empirical investigations to ascertain the impact of fintech on financial equity, consumer behavior, and corporate success. The paper provides an overview of the present landscape of fintech research and identifies critical topics for further investigation.
