Whenever there is a change in the workplace, employees tend to show reluctance to take any step, as lot of uncertainty prevails in that process. Change is a continuous process and it happens at various stages. It will be more successful if the lessons learnt elsewhere are applied in the workplace from time to time.

 
 
 

To survive and succeed in the current market scenario, any organization must change from time to time on a need basis. In other words, management should be sensible enough to understand when a change is required. Whenever there is a change, employees tend to show reluctance to take any step, as lot of uncertainty prevails. Change is a continuous process and it happens in various stages. This process will be more successful if the lessons learnt are applied back from time to time.

Change management requires experts, who are specialized in the specific area. Usually HR consultants are put on the job to assist in change management. This would not be a successful process until few aspects are taken care of. These consultants need high level of motivation and patience at all phases which is more important than competencies. This article is an insight from the challenges we faced while working with a Public Sector Company that has more than 4,000 employees. A few thoughts and insights.
